A unique property experience
Laming Property is pleased to announce our new office location in “The Rex” building at 50-58 Macleay Street, Potts Point, next to the Westpac Bank. Our new office is designed by Darlinghurst-based interior designer Andrew Loader of Andrew Loader design.
Andrew is known for his contemporary, classic style, and designed the office based on a classic monochromatic scheme layered with striking feature lighting and art, the key elements chosen to create a sophisticated and timeless look.
I sat down with him to discuss his work and inspiration.
“I was delighted to work with Lynette Laming on her new premises in Potts Point. Before the project began, we made sure that we were very clear on the philosophy, values and identity of the Laming Property Group brand and how we could bring these to life through the design of the space.
This greatly influenced our choice of the monochromatic interior scheme, accentuated with the recognisable Laming Property red square from the company logo, which is represented in the beauty of fresh flowers arranged in classic French styles.
Large expanses of white offset by panels of soft black, the gleam of glass and polished stainless steel, abstract artworks which will arrive shortly and elegant feature lighting all combine to communicate the unique essence of the Laming Property brand”, Andrew reveals.
Turning dreams into reality by getting to know the client and their lifestyles, Andrew helps dream spaces come to reality. Understanding the client and the driver behind is important for Andrew.
“Lynette required the office to be open plan. Her idea was to create an environment that encourages sharing and exchanging and removes physical barriers between staff and clients. What is most important is to truly understand the preferences and lifestyle needs of the client. Who will live in the space, how will they live, how do they want the space to function, what is their personal style. Only then can meaningful designs be created and the dreams of the client be brought to life”, Andrew describes the design process.
Andrew Loader provides interior design solutions for both residential and commercial projects across Sydney and Australia wide.
“Influenced by my years of travelling the globe as a marketing executive for luxury hotels, I know how to bring brands to life in commercial spaces through design. Spaces that clearly communicate the essence of the brand, while simultaneously making people within them feel inspired and uplifted”, Andrew comments.
Laming Property is very thankful for all the work Andrew Loader Design put into our space. We look forward to the residents of Potts Point visiting our office at 58 Macleay Street. View the gallery of our Potts Point commercial interior design here.
