Sydney Home Interior Design
Positioned in the heart of exclusive Double Bay, Sydney, this large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home was renovated and redesigned by Andrew Loader Design as a home away from home for an executive professional couple. They were seeking a Double Bay interior designer who they could trust to design, manage and renovate their new home.
The interior scope included a complete renovation of the bathrooms, open plan kitchen, bedrooms, living and dining room and entrance foyer.
Indoor outdoor flow was a major consideration so that the owners could maximise their living space during the Sydney summers. Custom bi-folding made to measure plantation shutters were used to envelope the north facing rooms in the winter months. The outdoor furniture and flooring treatments were carefully considered to ensure the transition from inside to out was seamless.
The integrated kitchen was designed to accommodate all appliances and culinary needs and to blend in with the monochromatic scheme of the home.
The bathrooms feature large form porcelain tiles in a calacatta gold marble pattern. The Hollywood regency style cabinetry is an Andrew Loader Design custom design.
