Sydney CBD Commercial Interior Design
Sydney commercial interior designers, Andrew Loader Design was proud to have been selected as the Interior Designers to complete the designs for this commercial project in Sydney Australia.
An iconic Sydney landmark building should be treated with the respect it deserves when the time comes for the reinvention of interior spaces. Overlooking the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and The Royal Botanical Gardens, Macquarie Street’s Aurora Place is a landmark development situated in Sydney’s Central Business District. The architectural design is the work of renowned architect Renzo Piano.
The brief was to create interior designs for a considered creative and agile environment. One that would inspire their team, and equally become an environment where their clients could be educated and entertained in surroundings that represent their core brand values, sustainability and approach to technology.
Andrew Loader Design created the interior designs which included:
- 250 metres of continuous timber panelling in a 3D design cladding the central core of the building
- Australia’s largest switch glass installation
- A sophisticated and progressive concierge lounge for client interaction offering both meeting facilities and food and beverage catering
- Transparency through extensive use of glass and light reflective surfaces ensuring the dynamic views are visible from every seat.
In line with our own commitment to sustainable work and home environments, Aurora Place has a 4 star NABERS Energy rating, 4 Star NABERS Indoor Environment rating and 3.5 Star NABERSWater Rating. (sourced from the website of Aurora Place)
